'Dave Scott on the Hadley Plain' Panoramic Poster 'Dave Scott on the Hadley Plain' Panoramic Poster
During the six moon landings between 1969 and 1972, the Apollo astronauts captured several panoramas. This was done by the astronaut standing in one spot, and then taking several single photos of the location as he rotated in a 360 degree circle. The result was about 20 photos which when laid alongside each other, would form a panoramic mosaic of the location.
